i think pacquiao media love irks him.

he doesn't/didn't understand why what he thinks is an inferior fighter like pacquiao gets so much media/fan love than him.

he's just using the black/asian thing with lin as his way of expressing that "he thinks" pacquiao gets biased media/fan adoration because he's asian and he doesn't because he's black.


i don't think lin will be a great player or anything.

but to say lin is only hyped up because he's asian is total bs.



the guy was an undrafted player. every team didn't think anything of him.

he was cut from several teams last year and twice earlier this year.

knicks picked him up as a end of the bench player and actually was about to cut him until injuries happened.

he was sleeping on his brother's dorm room's couch for crying out loud.

then all of a sudden he takes the knicks on a 5-6 game winning streak WITHOUT 2 of the knicks star players who were out. including one game where lin outscored kobe bryant.

that's the perfect underdog story. media loves those.
