Yeah Devante produced a few tracks for Pac. He was one of the singers from Jodeci, and produced a lot of their stuff and did work for Montell Jordan, K-Ci and Jo Jo etc.. with some sweet production on the RnB scene.

He set up a record company signing a young Timbaland and Missy Elliot, helping with their production techniques.............exactly.


As for Hi Tek, i thought i already had him on my list. Top 20 for sure, but a top 10 is too hard to wittle down.

I think the most glaring omission so far has been Da Beatminerz. Jesus, these guys have produced a million classic beats.

Buckwild and Battlecat were a couple of notable producers for me too. I have enjoyed their work for years.
