Not sure I'd characterise it as an invasion of Jews. Britain controlled terrority around the world but was starting to lose it. So in Ireland they said 'OK, you Catholics go here, Protestants go there, we'll split it into two countries'. In India they said 'Muslims go here, Hindus go there, we'll split it into two countries'. And in Palestine they did the exact same thing. Let's not act like a bunch of Jews showed up with tanks and took over, the British government made a decision in line with what it was doing across the world.

Israel does deserve criticism for things it does now and has done in the past. But Jews who had just survived the Holocaust and wanted to escape Eastern Europe before Stalin fully locked in his control had every right to go to Israel. Some Palestinians were forced from their homes in the 40s and that was wrong, but they have lost even more in the decades since by starting wars with Israel and losing quickly. If the UK invaded France and lost in 6 days we'd deserve to have them occupy some of our land.

Not all the people who get killed are innocent. If any country tried to fire rockets at US citizens, it would be full on war. America stole all kinds of land, land they never had any historical claim to..
