I've eaten in China, Hong Kong, Macau, Singapore, Malaysia (Penang and Borneo), Cambodia and Indonesia.

I know people say that the restaurants back in Western countries are not very authentic, but I find that they are - if you go to the right ones.

My favourite foods were in Singapore, in the old Rasa Singapura, and from some of the places in Cambodia and Malaysia. The best pineapple I ever tasted was on a trip to Malaysia, from a guy out in the bush, selling them on the side of the road, slicing them up with a machete.
