Do you think a crock pot slow cooker is useful. i got a lot of cooking gear and a nice gas stove.

Yet when Iâd visit Mexico my uncles would dig a pit and put cow heads, tongues, mesquite and then bury it with hot coals ..

Slow cookery is great Z. Personally in the summer I use fast (steam cooker) not to heat the house up and in winter will slow cook for the heat. pit barbq, good stuff.

Its a great way to cook. Look at Moroccan Tangines with the special cone shaped cooker. Tangines were designed for bachelors... just put everything in the cooker and leave on the fire.
