His unemployment numbers are a myth. They didn't take into account the millions of people who fell off the radar and couldn't find jobs. Once their unemployment ran out, they had to apply for welfare...which is why the welfare rates almost doubled. Do you see the correlation between unemployment numbers cutting in half and welfare rates almost doubled? That 4.5% didn't count those who dropped out of the workplace altogether.
