What makes the USA so great?

Easy enough what makes this place so great i Been living here for 20 plus year I would call this place good but I wouldn't go as far as great.(Ps I love Donald Trump)

I don't know what the threshold is for greatness but I've traveled quite a bit and would rather live in the US than anywhere else. It's not perfect, it's just the best we've got.

Specific reasons for me; greater speech and self-defense rights than I would enjoy in Europe/Asia, fewer entrepreneurial barriers, I still get hammered with taxes but it's not as bad, land is still reasonably cheap. It's destined to be absorbed into the third-world at this rate just like other western countries but seemingly at a slower pace.

well i was born in the philippines so it's not saying much if i say it's a lot better in the US as far as jobs, crimes, government service, etc.. but a citizen from Japan or other 1st world countries may not find US great at all...
