I highly recommend Samurai Rebellion, that's one the baddest films I've ever seen.

The ending is badass

badass and confusing, where the woman came from?? kobayashi the director should just end the movie with shot of the baby alone in that field.

the characters is just so black and white, and 1 more thing why i think kobayashi is still inferior to kurosawa. is the way he use set and prop, in samurai rebellion i got confuse when the characters talk inside the house. is it in the villain house or in the protagonist house?? they all look the same. kurosawa know that inside the old tatami japanese room mightbe confusing for foreign eyes because they all look the same in black&white movie. so usually he has some prop like painting or armor to mark the room or just simple open door looking to the garden.
