  • Most teams, including the asset-rich Celtics, have placed the obligatory call letting Cleveland know they would like to be kept in the loop, sources say. Boston could offer Isaiah Thomas, Jae Crowder and one of their golden picks — Brooklyn’s pick next season, or the Lakers/Kings pick they got from Philly in the Markelle Fultz deal. It’s unclear if they would dangle all of that, but those picks could represent the young stud Cleveland needs.

Interesting. Not a good deal for the Cavs though unless they can get a pick from the Celts.

        GOD DAMN!

I guess its official. Lebron is jetting at the end of the season.

Edit: On second thought, this might actually be good for the Cavs. If they get 2-3 decent star players back, might actually make the Cavs a better team and increase their chances of keeping Lebron after next season. For Cavs it's either championship or fail. And as of now, Cavs can only hope to lose to the Warriors again.
You know why he's leaving right?

        • Swizzy having nightmares. His boy LeChoke gonna jump ship again. Looks like Irving doesn't see the same desire to win in the eyes of other players on his team.

LeBron is not staying with the Cavs after this upcoming season. The team has no good young talent and no cap space.

It's his mentality. He doesn't have the will to overcome. He needs everything stacked in his favor. Irving isn't like that. Irving contacted Kobe last year to ask for advice about avoiding a Shaq/Kobe relationship in Cleveland.

Looks like he made up his mind to get the hell out of there.

I would pick Kyrie over IT easy. Both have a similar game but Kyrie's size makes him a more efficient scorer and defender. Kyrie is also younger and has 2 more years on a bargain contract. That's why Celts are including a pick and Crowder in the deal.

Yeah. Unless Bron is ready to take less money, Cavs have no chance of winning as long as the Warriors big4 are together.

depends on who they get back. They'll definitely be better defensively but they'll still need someone to take the offensive load off Lebron. At 33 he'll get warn out and injured if he gets overworked.

They should do a deal with the Suns. They can even do Irving for Bledsoe + swap 1st rd picks. Bledsoe can get his own baskets and Suns will still be **** so Cleveland will get a high pick. They desperately need some young blood on that team.

Boston has a lot to offer, probably the best out there, but idk if trading to your biggest rival is a good idea. The Cavs' new gm has a lot to think about, if Irving leads the Celtics over the Cavs in the playoffs his job is on the line.
