CNN for years has been the place people go for information about things going on in the world. yesterday Trump, not someone with a reputation for honesty, calls it "fake" news and his supporters have lined up right behind him and have begun to parrot the same thing.

The same people suggest Fox News is "real" news despite the CEO of the company telling the world that the network is not in the news business.

Very strange time in America right now.

Big props to Trump. Media needs to be shaken up and they need to start over and focus on unbiased news. Otherwise, just call them for what they are: political propaganda machines.

Fox ain't real news, not for the most part anyway, but they ain't any less real than CNN or MSNBC

they all pander to their audience, and use bits and pieces of actual news to fit their respective agendas & narratives

I always saw MSNBC and Fox as equivalent, not CNN. Whenever there was a hot story, I would go to fox/msnbc to see what each side was saying and to try and understand their "slant".

I guess CNN started to chase ratings and compromised themselves.

It's as if every news/media outlet in the country is somehow corrupt or slanted. Where do people go for honest information regarding what is going on in the world?

False. Their ratings are literally lower than the Cartoon Network.

Fox, on the other hand, had ratings higher than MSNBC and CNN combined.

And Trump was 100% correct. The news was fake, and there was CNN and BuzzFeed reporting the fake news.

Props to Trump for calling a spade a spade.

No, they took sides and colluded with a political party and candidate. When you literally feed one candidate debate questions in advance, you lose all rights to be called a legit news outlet. You've now become a part of a political machine.

Find an example of Fox feeding debate questions to R candidates or the RNC.

Find an example of Fox running stories by the RNC for approval before publishing them as CNN did with the DNC.

Find those, then we talk about how 'they all do it'.

                good luck!

Lets not pretend for a second that CNN is somehow superior to Fox, its not. Trump flipped out because CNN picked up a ridiculous story from Buzzfeed which had no honest research into it about Trump given European prostitutes golden showers, and ran it as if it might be true.

Buzzfeed is absolutely no legitimate source for anything.

They are a bunch of anti-white Marxists.

CNN has some sort of journalistic integrity, however still extremely biased.

I personally wouldn't go anywhere near either one of them for news.
