He told the people what he would do very clearly and they elected him overwhelmingly. The results of the nationwide survey conducted among 1,200 Filipinos from July 2 to 8, showed that 91% of Filipinos trust Duterte, while less than half a percent distrust him, and 8% are undecided on whether or not to trust him.

It seems what he is doing is what the people want.

Cmon man, you speak like most Pinoys are illiterate dumbass who didn't know anything about politics. For the past 30 years, every administration failed over & over again to solve this problem because of corruption & bureaucracy. Pinoys were sick & tired of the same old 'politics' that been dragging the country down. Oligarchs were milking the entire economy. Now someone radical tried to break the wheel and now he's being ridiculed because he won't take lectures from outside world.
