I run Lubuntu now i don't play PC Games, **** Windows.

I'm considering this...I think I'm going to partition my hard-drive and see if I can get used to it.

Just go to control panel and disable automatic updates and you'll get rid of windows 10 messages.

No, you can't disable important firmware updates or security updates.

I believe in Win 7 turning off updates will be the end off all updates...besides the fact that you already have the notification update installed so it's too late for that. Just uninstall the KB3035583 update...that's the win 10 notification. When it comes up again to install right click and hide it...select the "let me choose what to install" option from update options so it won't be an automatic install.
