Cuban was kind of right. He just went a little far with his comments. Westbrook is no doubt a superstar. I also don't think his style of play makes his team that much better. I feel like if you switch Chris Paul and Westbrook the Thunder would already have a championship or two.

Cuban is a dickhead. He's not liked in Dallas, although he has some serious dickhead owner competition (Jerry Jones). He made ONE BIG DEAL in this life....sold a piece of software that was immediately useless....so he gets props for that, but he's lost half a billion $$ in energy futures trading, and he personally dismantled a great Mavericks team that won the NBA title. He also publicly gloated (in the Nowitski movie) that he jobbed Dirk when he asked the Big German to take a pay cut for the team.

Lots of talk in Dallas about Dirk...that he should walk away from Cuban and join a winning team for the last couple years of his career. Who wouldn't want the guy on their team? He's still capable of controlling a game; he proved that this week against OKC. Carried the Mavs virtually on his back.
