All blades above 3 inch are banned in public. This includes lock knives.

All hand guns are banned.
All assault rifles are banned.
Rifles and shot guns must be applied for. Police do assessment and check medical records. Must re apply every 2 years I think.

This must apply to all states in the US. It won't work if you have strict laws in just one area, that's dumb as fuk and reminds me of some American way of thinking.

I will assure you that murders and suicides with guns will dip. I will even go as far to say that deaths will be reduced because accidents with knives are less likely to kill. It's harder to kill with a knife, although knife restriction in public is also harsh.

Fight with your fists which will reduce the likelihood of death.

Even an air rifle here that produces more than 12 ft / lb is considered a firearm which is illegal. It's strict but we don't even touch deaths related to guns in 4 digits.

they're stupid, stupid people. unfortunately they live in a political climate and in a political system that makes it extremely difficult to affect meaningful change on gun policy at the federal level.


i can go into what is needed to make an amendment to teh constitution if anybody is interested. it is complicated, to say the very least. there are so many places where it can be blocked, so many different techniques, and so many people with a ton of power [both public and private] who would want the legislation dead.

People need to forget about banning Guns. California already has some of the strictest gun laws in the country. There are around 300 million guns circulating in the US and they aren't going anywhere. The constitutional sentiment among people is too strong, and some of you just need to accept that and make peace with it. America will never be like France or Britain when it comes to firearms. The best we can do is enforce stronger background checks, but that still wouldn't prevent people acquiring guns illegally.

In any case the main issue is Islam and how it is affecting American life. Muslim terrorism is a serious national security risk, 9/11, Boston bombings, Paris and now this to name a few. The attacks will undoubtedly increase, and its quite scary to even think about them somehow some way acquiring a nuke.

It's the reason I get called a hypocrite in here. Because I think we have too many guns, they are too easy to obtain, I speak out against that but I myself have one.

I don't carry it with me, and I don't even enjoy shooting it. I have it because I have a wife and child at home, and if someone comes in to my home with a gun, I want the chance to protect myself and family.

Do I wish it was different, sure but conservatives have sold the idea of guns wrapped in a perfect package called patriotism and Americans have fallen for it hook line and sinker.

So now, if you mention anything outside of guns for everyone, you are a socialist that wants to take guns away.

It's nonsense. I'm telling you, next time it will be a militia style attack and there will be a group of 10,20 people doing the attacking.
