Is the popular vote win a slow-mo win? lol. The popular vote continues to get updated, with Google's election results feature showing a 630k Clinton lead right now.

The popular vote isn't a "win" period. Neither candidate campaigned for an imaginary prize that was invented 3 days ago.

You are making yourselves look like gullible fools by not understanding how the elections work just because journalists need a hail mary.

Trump coming even this close in the popular vote while campaigning primarily for rural, low-population electorates is a disappointing result for Hillary if you're really interested.

Trump and Paul agree on nearly everything (tariffs, border, russian relations, guns, public school funding, social moderates, etc).

It's a challenge to think of anything they do not agree on, but Paul's share of the vote was so small, the mainstream media never fully "Nazified" him. I assisted with the campaigns of both and the early Trump movement was formed from the remnants of Paul's 2008 bid.

It's interesting seeing how a candidate's portrayal in the media matters so much more than their political positions.

He seemed like a reasonable guy overall.

Neither is a slow-mo win tho. Wasn't claiming it was a win.

The election was decided by swing states, as it always is. You could just as easily construct a situation where all the small states vote one way and their candidate wins the popular vote too and are out electoral voted by the candidate winning the large swing states such as Florida and PA.

In fact, even now if you switch all small states to 100% Trump votes but switch 1% of the votes in FL and PA to Clinton, Trump would win the popular vote but lose the election. Don't be mistaken about how the electoral college works - it doesn't actually protect small state interests. You are working from the result backwards to try and explain something that isn't actually there.

Just like the slow-mo analysis made no difference on the result of Mayweather-Pacquiao. Seemed like it fit into the analogy to me.

"nearly agree on everything" yet Paul never endorsed him. In fact he pretty much openly hated on him.
