A new video posted on Sunday shows former New York City Mayor Mike Bloomberg explaining how healthcare will “bankrupt us,” unless we deny care to the elderly.

Mike Bloomberg: "All of these costs keep going up. Nobody wants to pay anymore money. And at the rate we’re going healthcare is going to bankrupt us. So not only do we have a problem we’ve got to sit here and say which things we’re going to do and which things we’re not. Nobody wants to do that. If you show up with prostrate cancer and you’re 95 years old, we should say go and enjoy, you’ve had a long life, there’s no cure and we can’t do anything. If you’re a young person, we should do something about it. Society’s not willing to do that, yet.”

It's quite surreal, and a bit frightening, to see people cheering when lifer politicians who have promised to strip away rights just won elections.

Liberal Woman After Attending Trump Rally: “Democrats Have An Ass-Kicking Coming To Them In November”



She recently attended a Trump rally and found out is was like nothing she had heard from the media or her liberal friends.

Not only were Trump supporters incredibly friendly to her, she was completely shocked by the positive energy and size of the crowd.

Now she is issuing a warning to members of her party.

She writes at Medium:

"After Attending a Trump Rally, I Realized Democrats Are Not Ready For 2020

I think those of us on the left need to take a long look in the mirror and have an honest conversation about what’s going on.

If you had told me three years ago that I would ever attend a Donald Trump rally, I would have laughed and assured you that was never going to happen. Heck, if you had told me I would do it three months ago, I probably would have done the same thing…

So, I headed over an hour and a half before the doors were scheduled to open—which was four hours before Trump was set to take the stage—and the line already stretched a mile away from the entrance to the arena.

As I waited, I chatted with the folks around me. And contrary to all the fears expressed, they were so nice. I was not harassed or intimidated, and I was never in fear of my safety even for a moment. These were average, everyday people. They were veterans, schoolteachers, and small business owners who had come from all over the place for the thrill of attending this rally.

They were upbeat and excited. In chatting, I even let it slip that I was a Democrat. The reaction: “Good for you! Welcome!”…

As I left the rally—walking past thousands of people who were watching it on a giant monitor outside the arena because they couldn’t get in—I knew there was no way Trump would lose in November."

"I think the Democrats have an ass-kicking coming to them in November, and I think most of them will be utterly shocked when it happens, because they’re existing in an echo chamber that is not reflective of the broader reality."

Tax-funded healthcare is just a single mandatory insurance company. The government will review it's own claim denials (guess who it will side with). Research into rare conditions & procedures will slow to a halt without a financial incentive. We are going back in time.

The current health care industry is indeed deeply corrupt but trying to explain to starry-eyed teenagers that something flawed is still by far the best available option... Is pretty much impossible. They just throw screaming tantrums.
