    If you follow politics enough; you'll notice the "experts" quite often underestimate growth under R Presidents, while overestimating growth under D Presidents.

              I suspects it’s another scam. Government collects billions a year. Earns interest on those billions every year and just refunds it at the end of the year without paying us any of their profits.
              The problem is too many damn tax credits and tax write offs

              Tax rate definitely dropped

              But with all the tax credits and write offs added and removed, we can't even tell anymore

              Our tax rates use to be way higher 1940s,1950s, etc

              But more credits and write offs too

              So our taxes have been pretty much the same as then even with lower tax rates now
