Trump's never lied about him making money and being very rich.

He's actually quite proud, even to the point of bragging, of his wealth.

Unlike major D players, who are filthy rich but get the press and their superfans to keep their wealth on the down low.

what is your source for that statistic?

          https://www.bloomberg.com/opinion/ar...-by-gdp-growth

This shows it was 2.1% over 8 years.

Assuming that the anonymous OP is, like Trump, using “GDP” to mean “GDP growth”, the question is whether you mean quarterly or yearly growth.

Between January 2009 and December 2016, the highest quarterly GDP growth numbers were

          5.1%, 2Q2014
          4.9%, 3Q2014
          4.7%, 4Q2011
The highest yearly GDP growth numbers over that period were

          2.7%, 2014
          2.6%, 2013 and 2010

Just for comparison purposes, so far Trump’s one yearly number was 2.5%, and his best quarterly numbers are 4.1% (2Q2018) and 3.0% (2Q2017).
According to the Bureau of Economic Analysis, which is a nonpartisan and highly trusted source, has tons of data relating to GDP going very far back. So if you look at the change in real GDP, which adjusts for inflation, between the first quarter of 2009 and the 2nd quarter of 2018, the average would be 2.02%.

Obama achieved a 4.5% growth in the 4th Quarter of 2009, 4.7% in the 4th quarter of 2011, 5.1% in the 2nd quarter of 2014, 4.9% in the 3rd quarter of 2014, and 4.2% in the 2nd quarter of 2018. FYI, in the 1st quarter of 2009, real GDP fell by 4.4%. This is attributable to G.W. Bush because Obama had just taken over, so these numbers are the end of Bush’s second term. The 2nd quarter of 2009 is attributable to Obama, where real GDP fell by just 0.6%. And in the 3rd quarter of that year, real GDP rose 1.5%.

Seems you aren't being honest Vlad.

Now did Melania give birth to Baron? If so cool. If not, then we can't be sure she is a female and must consider her a male. that would mean you Trumpers jack off to a male. LMFAO!!!

As I said, you're dealing with a cheerleader who is cherry-picking in order to maintain his rabid team loyalty.

                You're spinning your wheels.

2.5 and 2.9 average out to 2.7, which is slightly higher than 2.1. Going back to your earlier point, the growth rates are not the same, and I'd rather have the president with 2.7 than 2.1, assuming everything else is equal

Never mind the fact that those same fans swore that McCain was a national hero not too long ago.

Now McCain is the scum of the earth according to them, because Trump said so.
McCain was never a boy scout. War hero, yes. But ever since his involvement in the Keating 5 scandal, he's just another Rhino Republican part of the flawed political system, and he was a war monger. Likely because he wanted to ensure his cronies at major defense contractors remained prosperous. I was never a McCain fan.

OK. The data shows Obama's best year and Trump's best year are equal. All we can really compare given Trump has 2 and Obama has 8. Maybe we should wait to compare until Trump has 8 years in.

Lets revisit where Trump is after 3 years.
