These people throw a fit over McDonald's workers making a measly $15/hr but won't **** about McDonalds getting a tax subsidy to build a restaurant in their city. On top of the taxpayers subsidising the healthcare and housing of McDonalds workers because they don't pay enough. The **** just blows my mind.

But as to your point, I find it interesting that they can't grasp the simple Math that dictates that the group that pays the most of the taxes, is going to get the most of any tax cuts.

On the flip side, we just saw the liberal Democrats themselves admitted their tax cuts most effect the poor.

In his moment of brutal honesty, Gruber explained that you sell the tax increases as tax increases on the rich healthcare corporations, but the "stupid" voters don't realize that those rich corporations simply just raise the prices of their services, and so in reality the consumers, including the poor, actually pay the tax increases.

It is completely baffling to me how they still can't see this, despite Gruber flat out saying it on video, on top of them having had it explained to them both before and after that by people on this very forum.

The important point however that for a tax system to be fair it must be progressive. That is those that can best afford paying tax, more disposable income, are the ones paying the tax. Those with no or little disposable income pay little if any.
