There is a Dem running for Senate vs Cruz in Texas. If I was on his team I would make a tv ad showing the "lying Ted" mocks that Trump made of Cruz. I'd have the Dem candidate say at the end of the ad "I agree with you Mr President...Ted Cruz is a liar". Would go over great in Texas I believe.
