When Bush & Obama attempted to work with Russia they put Russia in time out when Russia messed up. Trump is inviting Russia to sit at the adult table.

Russia not significant? They are only one of the top three oil producers in the world alongside Saudi Arabia and the U.S.

They are still a country rich in natural resources and their space and defense technology rivals ours and China's. They may not have a huge impact on the global economy, but they are very resourceful and have a very capable intelligence agency. If they weren't; Democrats, the media, and half the idiot voters in this country wouldn't be making such a fuss.

1) Did he? From what i understand, he said it was an interesting offer but didn't agree to it.

2) No problem at all. Putin is the head of state of a major world player. On the other hand, nobody raised an eyebrow when Obama invited despots like Yahya Jammeh & Teodoro Obiang to the WH.

What is the problem? I though it was time to be progressive and leave the eighties foreign policy behind. What's the problem with Putin meeting in DC?
