I think he has been pretty good to the USA in his first year.

The media, however, has reached very new lows.
It is disingenuous to take things that some dems/liberals have said out of context like 1bad65, barron, ghostoffdempsey and the rest of the white nationalist Trump base.

I don't think the media has gotten worse. I think people have foolishly decided to allow partisan attacks on the media to erode their trust in it. Meanwhile, there is no entity to hold officials accountable. That should scare you.

No matter what Trump does, he is responsible for making white supremacy/nationalism a core philosophy of the republican platform. he has pushed these ideals into the mainstream. I will always judge his accomplishments in that light. I can't separate that from anything he does.

If you feel he is good for the country I obviously can't change that opinion. The tax break, jobs numbers are positives for a lot of people.

I see them as the equivalent of a steak and lobster dinner served to me on a dirty garbage can lid, if you can understand my point.

      I get what you mean.

How I see it is that when he announced he was going to run for Presidency, he suddenly became racist, and anti-immigrant the way the media protrays him. Whereas all he said is he wants to minimize ILLEGAL immigration. As for racism, the man did plenty for all races. He was praised by Jesse Jackson...

CNN, MSNBC had to retract several stories including one that had a major hit on the market. Reporters were fired and executives were forced to resign. You had attacks on Trump by the media regarding his mental state.

Look at all the anti-Trump stories from the big media outlets, you cannot deny they waged a smear campaign on him, which he won handily every time.

Respectfully, I live about 20 minutes west of NYC. I have known about Trump for a long time. He has long been called out for his race beliefs. Also, when you run for President you get scrutinized at a completely different level.

when he led the birther movement and made those comments about Mexicans, people did begin to call him out. His being praised by Jesse doesn't change his history.

His wanting to minimize illegal immigration is bogus because he employs illegals in all of his buildings. He also used illegal immigrant labor to build his buildings. Again, words can't erase history.

Telling the truth about someone isn't a smear campaign. It's gotten to the point that Trump supporters only believe stuff told to them by other Trump supporters. How is that possible?

There is an old saying-if everyone thinks alike then no one is thinking. Liking Trump is fine, but acting like everything negative said about him is a lie or unfair is dangerous.

He will lie directly to you guys-things you guys KNOW are false-yet you will get annoyed at the media for calling him out on it and not "focusing on the big picture".

Is the $1,000-2,500 tax breaks worth that?

          This can't be said enough.

Trump's been famous for decades. He had one of the highest rated shows on TV.

Yet never once did people come out calling him a racist, a bigot, a rapist, a ****phobe, etc. He was just a rich dude who got famous in the 80s who had goofy hair and said "You're Fired!" on TV.

Then he puts an (R) after his name and suddenly we're told he's one of the most vile human beings to ever walk the planet.

Trump did hire illegal workers in the early 80’s. He settled in court and paid a huge fine. That over 35 years ago.

I believe he loves the USA, which is becoming a cesspool of politically correct garbage that takes better care of illegal criminals than its own people.

And there is a HUGE BIAS FROM THE LEFTIST SOCIALIST MEDIA.
CNN, NBC, ABC, MSNBC, Late Night comedy shows. All against Trump.

You had all major News Networks poll a Hillary Landslide Victory. Like 330-180 electoral votes.....

As an example among plenty, The media was making a huge deal of Trump afraid of stairs because he held Theresa May’s hand when they went down an incline and she was wearing heels.

            https://www.washingtontimes.com/news...scared-stairs/

He simply did what any gentleman would do and held a women with heels down an incline to make sure she doesnt trip:

              Question for anyone:

When Trump became a Republican, he championed the birther movement. Does it makes sense that people label him a racist and a bigot when you decide to make birtherism the focal point of your campaign?

The "grab em by the *****" video was not made available until after he decided to run for office. The comments about Mexicans as well. Once these comments are made, isn't it reasonable for people to label him as vile?

As if you never talked about ****ing a hot bltch amongst your boys... pffft. Comments about mexicans. What comments? That there millions of them in the USA illegally, and plenty are commiting crimes or sitting on welfare.

Vlad, have you been to his properties recently? he still has illegals there. While you are willing to overlook that, others are not.

I am fine with what you believe-however he makes products outside the USA and hires illegal immigrants. he also-and I apologize for being repetitive-he led the movement to discredit a President he claims wasn't born in the USA. Those actions to me are not actions of someone that loves America.

You are entitled to believe that if you wish. Predicting he'd lose isn't bias dude, its what the polls were saying, not just dem/liberal polls either. Nearly every credible republican pollster was seeing the same data. They were wrong, as they have been before.

Ok, so what? That story doesn't mean the reports about the things he does are false. We agree that certain media elements do not like Trump. What you will not acknowledge is the behavior he has shown makes people hate him. You seem to act like he is an innocent victim when everything is a reaction to how he has conducted himself.
