I work for a living. I don't accept handouts, never will and I laugh at anyone that actually does cuz they're too lazy to go out and get a real job.

        So I'll leave this with:

Fuck you, but have a nice day.
Out of interest what is your job?

His goal was to turn Canada into a version of America that would have made the tea party movement proud. I don't expect much from politicians but I don't see Trudeau as the type who would turn Canada into a police state that will let big business run wild. Harper was a religious lunatic who believed the "free market" is divinely guided and that the environment will repair itself, so therefore corporations destroying it is no big deal because God will fix it. In fact he encouraged it because he is a evangelical dominionist.

          Anyone is better than that.
i don't believe harper actually worshipped God, i think he was posing as a fundamentalist christian because that's what the majority of conservatives wanted. he is as bad as any american neocon, it's good to see him go. some of the comments he made during the debates were just scary, such as stripping anyone convicted of terrorism of their citizenship, and then he said he'd like to apply that penalty for other "crimes" as well. harper passed laws that made it harder for non-neocons to vote against him, we have to produce twice as much identification during elections, not to mention the corruption, mike duffy, patrick brazeau, and the endless corporate welfare handouts to big business. even within his own party he was known as a bully and control freak who wanted to micromanage the freedom of every single canadian.

i knew every statement he made about the senate scandal was a lie, as if control freak like harper would ever let his office staff make decisions on their own, he micromanaged every detail of the duffy payoff and then lied about it.

When I hear Justin speak I hear the flakiness in his voice of his bi-polar mother. The only similarity between him and his father is that neither really had much of an employment history outside of politics.
i bet that's where harper got brazeau for the senate, when he was bouncing in another strip club, the one all the cabinet ministers go to and throw toonies on the dancers' coozes from the front row

I can't think of a single politician in this country on a Federal or Provincial level (here in BC anyways) that I have ever liked. In BC it's just horrible...very sad state of affairs all around.
mulcair made a lot of mistakes on this campaign, he made too big of a deal out of the niqabs, and it cost him big in Quebec where he needed seats, and wanted to fight with harper on some irrelevant issues just to show he was against him where it would have been smarter to stick to the main issues

I agree, he totally knew about what wright did with Duffy. I read somewhere that he has about 70 other evangelicals in his caucus which explains why they blindly follow everything he said. I can't imagine a non-religious loon being so anti-science and promoting some of the ideas Harper did. Perhaps he did lead that idea on to justify his insanity. Either way I'm glad he's gone. I think the damage he has done to the party won't be repaired for years.

I don't believe anyone insomuch as inched an argument towards my premises. Telling ... telling indeed.

So, game over. You want to talk about "handouts" and support a rightwing cesspool party that accepts legalized bribes in pro quid quo for giving out billions of U.S. taxdollars to billionaires who do nothing for the economy. Nothing.

              Game over.

You whiny *****es can cry and cry and cry all you want. I don't post what is left to me in PMs or votes because I am not a petulant infant.

Grow up. Discuss the issues that are put forth or go back to jerking off to looking at men's anuses in ****s.

                      you ******ed monkey.
First off, unlike yourself, I'm capable of stating my case in an adult manner. Insults and name-calling are the antics of children. You're not even on my level.

That said, the fact remains; EVERY municipality filing bankruptcy has been Democrat-ran for decades upon decades.

As to being poorest, that depends on how you define "poor". You're obviously not accounting for cost of living, and cost of living is a huge factor. I live comfortably in Texas on the salary I make, but it would need to at least double if I were to move to California if I wanted to live the same lifestyle I have here in Texas.

Also, California is the poorest state according to welfare numbers. A whopping 34% of the nation's welfare recipients live in CA, but only 12% of the nation's population lives there.
