Ben Carson is smart, there's no doubt there. Being a neurosurgeon doesn't qualify you for president though. Neither does being a good business man.

I never understood the connection between being successful at something outside of politics, and thinking that qualifies you to run the country.

At the end of the day he'll say stupid things that will really take a toll on his campaign, regardless of how smart he's supposed to be.

What he does is represent the dumb smart people in this world that have allowed their beliefs to overcome their intellect.

The man is a neurosurgeon, he understands that evolution is the foundation to which biology is built as a science. Yet he has cognitive dissonance because of his beliefs.

Anyone who thinks the earth is 6,000 years old and that some demon dwelling in some other dimension is influencing scientists all over the world to believe in the evils of evolution, is not fit to be president of the chess club let a lone this country.
