It's that self pity cop out BS that keeps them in their ways. "I need to shoot this dangerous narcotic into my veins because I am sad or in pain."

No you are a junkie, get clean and return to normal society. Zero sympathy from me. No one cares about your pain, we all have **** to deal with, you're just weak.

Pain is part of life, you're never going to cure everyone's pain so asking "why the pain" is ultimately pointless.

The real point is educating people not to rush to drugs and alcohol every time they're having a tough time but to exercise or do something productive (and unharmful).
