What a patriot. Easily wins him keeper of the tournament IMO.

Honestly, the USMNT were being stomped on in that game. How they didn't completely crumble is beyond me, and how Tim Howard managed to put in that level of performance under such incredible pressure is truly astonishing. That could have been a lot worse for us. He just put in an ATG performance against a vastly superior team.

I'm proud of the USMNT and hope the buzz generated for this WC in America spurs some more lasting interest in the sport.

Right now though, remember this man.
