The Iraqi forces outnumber the ISIS squad 270,000 to 12,000....as well as having more muscle....yet they ran with their tails between their legs - or do they not care?

The US is directly responsible for every bit of it. The sectarian violence is the product of power struggle.

The neocons determined to invade Iraq in order to secure control of the oil fields.

Indeed, the invasion, as well as what followed, was among the biggest series of 'war crimes' in the post-WW2 experience. Maybe not as big as Vietnam, but it s debatable.

They did basically get control of the oil fields. This is needed both to enrich the cronys (and hence themselves), and because oil is a strategic resource and control of oil fields afford geopolitical power, per their logical extrapolations.

It is not at all certain whether they will be successful in holding the oil fields.

The US illegally invaded Iraq and helped create the chaos that exists in all of the Middle East today. Bush and all of his administration from 2003 should be in jail right now.

A lot of people make incredible amounts of money of war..
Oil companies get to charge more for gas at your local pump.
                Defense contractors
Bankers and banks are getting interest from massive loans
All the factories that supply war goods like ammo, jeeps, radios etc
Stock market goes down and panics the public but in reality it's just in discount and the super wealthy are able to gobble up huge amounts of stock for cheap, while the public is mostly scared.
Lots of profit to be made in war, just none for the regular citizens
dont forget all the rebuilding contracts, lots of cash for citizens willing to go get it

Saddam, however brutal, was a ****ing god sent compared to ISIS.

Saddam held down all the radical ****s and brought some stability to Iraq. Right now you have poverty and anarchy feeding radical islamic groups.

ISIS make random drive by shootings on civilians for the hell of it, they behead pretty much anyone and they can't stand anyone who doesn't believe their small minded version of Islam - so they have to die, horribly. That includes iraqi civilians - and you and me.

We should've never went into Iraq. Saddam was a necessary evil in the backwards country known as Iraq.

The former crown jewel of the world, how ****ing pathetic they've grown.
