because people arent allowed to carry guns in most places where mass shootings happen. Ever heared of a mass shooting happening in a shooting range?

Are people allowed to carry guns in high schools and universities?

                Thankfully, no.

What about Fort Hood, doe? Shooting sprees occurred on that Army base two separate times. Both times armed military personnel were unable to stop it.

                What's your excuse for that?

                      Try the washington post, moron.

                      http://www.washingtonpost.com/news/p...-on-fort-hood/

"Soldiers on all military installations, including Fort Hood, are not armed while on post, nor are they permitted to carry any privately owned firearms. Only law enforcement and security personnel are allowed to have weapons on post."
                      That's right.

They had their own independent armed security force and were still unable to prevent either attack.
