there have been 4 seasons, with 10 episodes a piece, if you watch an episode a day you'll be caught up by next season.

i didn't start watching until the middle of the second season.

Ah yeah maybe. For some reason i just assumed he died then lol..

At the end of the episode, Snow said there was no one left to give orders. Maybe that meant he died. But the "he's not dead unless you see him die" TV/Film rule might still apply.
