Top 5 greatest military generals of all time?

Some decent generals here that I didn't know a lot on and it's been fun looking them up some more.
As it hasn't been mentioned I want to give a shout out to the desert fox, Erwin Rommel, maybe not an ATG, but just a notch below and a decent human being considering he was working under the nazis.

It took ceaser 5 decades to consolidate that kind of power before he could really do what he wanted.
any list without genghis as number one is a joke. GK was virtually undefeated and conquered half the world in the span of like 40 years. and he managed do all this without any real military training or an army that was given to him. he was a self-made man.

John Churchill, Duke of Marlborough
Robert Clive
Eisenhower
Simon Bolivar
Marshall Petain
Two of these men had overall responsibility for winning the first and second world wars, another decisively won the first European-wide war, one man conquered an entire continent despite not being a professional soldier and another is the father of modern South America. Big achievers all.

Genghis Khan- This man united all of Mongolia and striked fear into the hearts of all his enemies. He conquered and controlled the largest land empire in the history of mankind and hasn't been matched since.
Not even the Jin Dinesty, , or the rest of the chinese empires- he destroyed them all. The richest and most powerful nations not just in asia, but the whole world could not slow him down
He also ****ed the most women.. some of you might even be one of Khan's descendents.Last edited by DARKSEID; 01-05-2014, 09:49 PM.
