European American or Japanese cars?

Over-all, Japanese have the best cars in pretty much any class save for one, the sports luxury.

US had muscle cars and trucks

Germans had pretty nice luxury sports cars

Italians with wild exotics

UK and french for complete POS's that make US cars look super-reliable

Naw, they have some really good cars. Tesla S, Pickups. Lets not forget their muscle cars, hell, they had some of the hottest low displacement turbo'ed cars. Grand National, Dodge Daytona, Mustang turbo...all way ahead of their time.

New car under 50K, I'd go for the mb CLA 45 amg



AWD, 0 to 60 in 4.2 seconds. 1/4 mile 12.7 sec, .96g skidpad.

and I currently own Japanese (Mazda 3,) American (Dodge 2500 diesel truck) and German (Mercedes 300CD) vehicles respectively. But I am liking some of the cars coming out of South Korea as well.

Germans make the best cars. Had a VW Passat before, got a BMW 320 right now. My passat made it up to 450,000 km before I sold it and the engine was still running perfectly.

I've had both and loved both. Prefer German built cars, the build quality pisses all over "Jap Crap, plastic-fantastic" on their cheap interiors. Both have good engines. I don't mind paying a little more for build quality and luxury.

If I was 18 and all I cared about was fast and furious and value for money, then it's Jap Crap all day long. Both make the best cars IMO
