This thing made landfall with 195 mph winds? I can't even imagine that. I've seen what over 100 mph can do, and this was almost twice that.

props to the pinoys for catching this one early and limiting the death toll with evacuations. that's the best thing you can do in a situation like this, and it can only come seamlessly if you've got the procedures in place and have practiced. i can't imagine how long it's going to take to rebuild some of the hardest hit areas, but at least the death toll is low from what i gather.
