Feminism, how do you think it affects society?

Feminism is defined as "the theory of the political, economic, and social equality of the sexes".

My question is in todays world do you believe in feminism and do you support it? Or is feminism a farce ruining the age long established model between sexes?

Anyway it depends what you mean by "feminism". In the case of our friend there Anita Sarkeesian it means radical feminism which largely consists of middle class white girls complaining about patriarchy. Her videos are atrocious.

She describes the show as "misogynist" and explains it's because the concept of having these people (men and women) that are robbed of their consciousness and loaned out to fulfill fantasies and achieve other ends is so awful and creepy and dark and yet you still identify with the perpetrators.

THAT'S THE WHOLE MESSAGE OF THE SHOW YOU DOLT! That's the whole message of everything Joss Whedon creates! He messes with conventions, he engenders sympathy for unsympathetic characters, he makes you think.

And the reason that Sarah Connor Chronicles was cancelled was because no fucker watches it!

The feminist movement has dome some great work in the past of really removing barriers to the success of women and acceptance of them (by men) as human beings and not serfs and sex-objects.

On the one hand it could be argued that those goals have been largely achieved and that women now occupy positions of success and respect in society so that the feminist movement is no longer needed.

On the other hand...
