The list could easily change. I was tempted to put Jason Kidd on the list.

Must be a site glitch, I only voted for Parker twice.

Stockton had more tools of a true point guard. As far as passing goes, him and magic are about the same but Stockton was a MUCH better shooter and I think that's very important to the PG position.

just look at how much better the Celtics as a team are when Rondo got injured. Even though Rondo is amazing at almost everything, he sucks at shooting and that brings the team down as a whole. A great shooting PG helps the offense run better even if the PG is great at slashing and dishing.

and why can't CP3 be on the list right now? I think if he retires today he'd still be worthy of being on that list.

                      1. John Stockton
                      2. Magic Johnson
                      3. Isiah Thomas
                      4. Gary Payton
                      5. Oscar Robertson

John Stockton was the man. He was so damn accurate shooting his jumper was sick and layups smoothe. His shooting ability was extremely underrated and overshadowed by being probably the greatest and most unselfish passer in the game. He is probably the ultimate example of a true point guard. He was a leader, a passer and a scorer who could control a whole game plus he was scrappy. I take him over anybody else because besides Karl Malone who else did they have besides Kyle korverish Jeff hornacek, Bryant Russell and Greg Ostertag lol its the only reason him and Malone couldn't get a ring because Jordan was too much. Magic had too many constant hall of farmers. Even Payton and Thomas had more talent on their team. John Stockton and Karl Malone WERE the Utah Jazz. And the still wrecked havoc on the west in their primes.
