  • Will Ichiro Suzuki get to 3,000 hits?

He's past prime, but I think he will. He has 2,550 right now, with 3 more years of 150 hits a year, he gets to 3,000. And this year is not even over yet. Last year he had a bad year and had 180+ hits. I think he makes it.

Imagine if he would have started in the bigs a few years earlier. I think he is a sure fire hall of famer.

      Oh yeah.

But he'll probably get it with the Mets.

that's like saying you think MJ is sure fire Hall of famer , Ichiro holds the record for most hits in a season and numbers of seasons with 200+ hits he is already one of the best to ever done it

All right, first ballot hall of famer?

Used to seem like a sure thing, but he will be cutting it close now. Toss-up, though I would predict he gets there.

              Hard to argue against it.

              His numbers are ridonkolous.

I would say he has like 2 years left of being an above average player, and then he will probably linger around the league for another 2-3 years but I think he will get it.

He's tapered off in recent years but even on his worst day I still consider him one of the best hitters in the league. I'm confident that he'll make 3,000 with relative ease.
