    Just look at it this way...

    Some players would be happy to have 1, just 1 season of more than 200 hits.

    Or hit .320. Or score 100 runs. Or steal 40 bases.

                  I remember when I use to to make my own trades, and do force-trades in MLB PS1 games, I would always put Ichiro in my Yankees lineup. Now the Yankees do it, but a past prime version of Ichiro. It's sad, he had 11 and a half seasons with such a sad team like the Mariners. A world Series caliber player, with not even one ring. Hopefully the Yankees win the WS this year so Ichiro can have his well-deserved WS championship.

                    To be fair though, he was on perhaps the best team of the past dozen years, which should have won the World Series but just choked away the postseason.
