Who is the best defensive player in the NBA?

I watch the Knicks all the time, and Shumpert and Jeffries do an incredible job on the defensive end. Then there's Tyson Chandler and Joakim Noah that are long and can disrupt anybody's shot. Gotta give props to Lebron too...the guy doesn't get enough credit for defensive abilities. And someone that's often mentioned, Tony Allen, is an incredible perimeter defender.

Shawn Marion. Not only did he shut down kobe in last years playoffs when they got swept but he also checked Kevin Durant and Lebron James and was the last man standing with a ring on his finger.
