i just don't want to give up chandler's d, hustle and presence on the boards.

amare has good range and obviously carmelo too so it might be good enough.

plus lin plays well with chandler and fields.

but i see your point.

we're just going to have to agree to disagree on this.

well it's not like Chandler wouldn't play. he could still get 30+ mins coming off the bench.

and yes, I think Chandler would be a better starter at Center than Amare, but no way would he ever get the start over Stoudemire.

Our defense would be pretty inept with Smith and Amare on the floor at the same time. Lin is a good on ball defender but he is lacking in the pick and roll department. Our lineup is perfectly fine the way it is.
