Wow, what a way to save the season. IMO the season has been absolute crap with Dexter being sloppy as fuck, the villain being ******ed as fuck, and that weird ass incest storyline. The season was more like fan fiction. But still, that ending was great. I don't know how they're going to squeeze two more seasons out of that ending.

Yeah he was being sloppy. For a while I thought he may save the Doomsday Killer for Deb, because she needed the catch to close the case, but no. Just another Season finale catch on Dex's table, and bam out of nowhere walks in Deb.

That computer lab geek that sent him that Ice Truck hand will probably end up being next season's villain. And Deb catching him will resolve itself by the first episode.

Best way to keep the series going would be if Dex was forced to go on the run or Deb gives him ultimatum to leave Florida or she will turn him in, with Dexter taking his serial killing on the road, with brand new characters surrounding him.

If they just make up these storyline's as they go along from season to season, then it was a cheep way out. Considering that the two actors had a relationship in real life. Makes one wonder if they would've went this direction if the two actors hadn't been in a relationship in real life.
