Defense must have been pretty ****ing crappy if they couldn't stop a run-game that they called most of the time.

Usually if a team is winning with their running game, they don't have to score a lot of points because their defense is really freaking good. The 2000 Ravens or 2002 Buccaneers come to mind. The 2006 Bears got to the Super Bowl with an awful quarterback and passing game, but they had a good running game and a really good defense.

Besides, if your running game is good enough, it's just as hard to stop as a great passing game.

its called ground & pound! you need a great defence too though.the baltimore ravens won a superbowl with trent dilfer at the helm but never won anything with a better QB.you don't need a QB to win the superbowl but if you dont have that franchise QB you better have a stingy defence & great running game.you QB just has to play mistake free & be a efficient clock runner.
