Was reading that they just broke the Emmy record, about time they get some recognition.

The record for nominations, not for wins. They have not won anywhere near as many as they have deserved. I think you have to be gay or trans or black to really get on the inside track to win an acting Emmy these days.

Eddie Eyre will be playing the role of Ser Alfred Hunrith, who some have suggested may be a codename for arthur dayne.

Combined with the eight awards the show won at the Creative Arts Emmys last week, that***8217;s 12 Emmys for one show in a single year. That number absolutely destroys the record for most wins in one year, which was previously held by The West Wing with eight.

It's ironic, though, considering that most people felt this wasn't one of the better GOT seasons. I agree with you that they deserved far more, especially some of the great actors that have been on the show, they only like Peter Dinklage.

I stand pleasantly corrected! But of course most are in the creative arts categories... special effects, etc... whereas like yourself I believe they deserve more awards for the writing and the acting on the show. It was good to see Dinklage win again, though. He does a fantastic job with that role.

I especially thought Lady Diana Rigg, aka Emma Peel, deserved a win for best female guest star on a dramatic series. She was just fantastic last season.
