Best actor today? Damn homie that's a tough, tough question. I think people get caught up in the success of a movie and translate that into the greatness of an actor. For example, there are some great actors that never get talked about, guy like Paul Giamatti, Phillip Seymore Hoffman, Vincent DeNofrio,
Don Cheadle.....just to name a few.

I'm a huge fan of Daniel Day Lewis, I think he might be one of the most versatile actors today.

There are the obvious one's, like Deniro, Walken, Pacino (even though I think Pacino is not very diverse but he's great at what he does), Leonardio Decaprio, Christian Bale, Sean Penn (truly a great, great actor), William Hurt....to name a few.

All those are great.

Some of the most overrated IMO are;

Freeman, Tom Hanks, Nicole Kidman, Halley Berry.....

Whoever says Berry and Kidman can act should go blow their brains out.

Hanks is remembered for **** that happened way back yonder such as Philedelphia and Saving Private Ryan.

There's more movies by him like Big & whatnot, but I couldn't be hassled to figure out what movies he's been in per say.
