I will say Morgan Freeman is overrated, I wouldn't go as far as calling him a hack but he is considered a great actor by a lot of people and I wouldn't call him that either.
I think he's a good actor, not great. He does have a great speaking voice but for me I think another actor along his lines that is much better is Laurence Fishburn.Comment

Best actor today? Damn homie that's a tough, tough question. I think people get caught up in the success of a movie and translate that into the greatness of an actor. For example, there are some great actors that never get talked about, guy like Paul Giamatti, Phillip Seymore Hoffman, Vincent DeNofrio,Originally posted by The Underboss View Post

I'm a huge fan of Daniel Day Lewis, I think he might be one of the most versatile actors today.
There are the obvious one's, like Deniro, Walken, Pacino (even though I think Pacino is not very diverse but he's great at what he does), Leonardio Decaprio, Christian Bale, Sean Penn (truly a great, great actor), William Hurt....to name a few.
All those are great.
Some of the most overrated IMO are;
Freeman, Tom Hanks, Nicole Kidman, Halley Berry.....Comment
