game was lost with 4 straight ft misses by dwight and artest.

didn't see any stat line. just got home and saw the scoreboard and asked you guys what happened.

but nevertheless, I know its only a statline but you wouldn't see other great players putting up that many missed shots. They would see how the defense is playing them and adjust their game.

BUT gotta give a pass on this one since you guys are saying he had the flu.

actually the great players are the ones that miss the most.

they have to take the shots no matter what.

you didn't see the game, so you really shouldn't comment.

i'll explain it simply.

none of the lakers were hitting their shots. everytime that happens, they stop shooting and keep passing the ball to kobe who is double, triple teamed.

ron artest was 1-8 and antawn jamison was 1-7

pau gasol was 2-9 shooting and dwight howard was 3-12 at the line


i seriously doubt kobe's 40 points and 10 rebounds was the problem.

kobe put up more than half the points and had more rebounds than either dwight or gasol.

ok yeah just saw the boxscore and highlights. so many lakers had a horrible shooting night.

Artest and Howard combined for 0-4 on FT in the last minute. That should be 3 shots given.

But even still, Kobe tied it with a big 3. George Hill just got 2 big shots and Howard was late on blocking one of the shots.
