LOL Lakers got too many old, slow, unathletic guys Walton, Artest, Brittle Knees Bynum, Blake, Fisher it's like a collection of past prime guys that have no business on a premier team like the Lakers. Those guys belong on the Grizzlies or something.

The good news is that young kid Norris looked real good. IMO Kobe could groom him into a good PG. His jumper already looked better than Blake, and Fisher so got nothing to lose by starting him.

I know it was just a preseason game but it was a statement game also that the Lakers needed to put the Clippers back in their place. Might be tough for the Lakers looking up and seeing the Clippers ahead of them in the standings.

Damn Deadre Jordan is a beast I was saying before the season that the Knicks should go after him and I'm pissed we didn't. Even though we got Chandler, Jordan is like the younger version with less injury history.
I can't lie the Clippers look real good right now.

Deandre wouldnt of gone to the knicks anyway. That dude is BFFFFx10 with BG. They never seperate.

kobe + pau (who are not whack players) pretty much eats up the entire team salary.

their salary just the 2 of them is about $44 million this year. salary cap is about 55 this year.

doesn't matter how wise lakers spend on the other guys they'd be over the cap no matter what.

nah kobe and pau deserve what they can get. 2 and 5 titles. can't put a price on that.

you know ron artest was gotten with the mid-level exception right?

and no we really couldn't get someone else since we couldn't sign any free agents except with the mid-level exception.


can't make trades of not near equal value without cap space.
