So Madison, you prefer non mainstream media, even though you do use and source Sky, Daily Mail etc.

Russia, legally can't have independent media. It's almost entirely mouthpieces for Putin.

All privately owned independent TV channels are banned from broadcasting, except for cable entertainment channels.

Russia’s Crackdown on Independent Media and Access to Information Online

Propaganda war The terrain has been favourable for an increase in propaganda by Russia (164th), which has fallen another nine places in the 2023 Index. In record time, Moscow has established a new media arsenal dedicated to spreading the Kremlin’s message in the occupied territories in southern Ukraine, while cracking down harder than ever on the last remaining independent Russian media outlets, which have been banned, blocked and/or declared "foreign agents”. Russia’s war crimes in Ukraine (79th) helped give this country one of the Index’s worst scores for security.

So then why are we having to send billions to Ukraine to help them fight an enemy who doesn't possess a capable military???

Since I don't work for the FSB I can't comment on their actions. The one thing that is blatantly obvious to everyone is that Zelensky is ready and willing to fight to the death of the last Ukrainian Slav while he and his "landsmen" sit in Kiev and count the $$$ coming in - minus 10% for the "Big Guy," of course!
The bullshlt you spew would apply if Zelensky had started this war. But your idol Putin started it, and and he’s sacrificing hundreds of thousands, if not millions of Slavs for it. In 25 years of power, Russians went from poor to poor. You might keep talking about how he got the country fromt its knees of the 1990’s. He got it from its knees, and drove it right into shlt. Yet you seem oblivious to this. All your the garbage you post comes from a point of view as if Ukraine was the one who invaded and started this war.

He was comparing Russia to America. Russia's military is not comparable to America. It's a plain truth.

Russia is bullying its weaker neighbors and is backed up against a wall because Ukraine wasn't nearly as weak as they thought. The billions we give Ukraine is nothing to the USA but MAGA will never skip a beat to help Russia so we keep hearing about it like its some big drain on our wallets (its not).

No, he wasn't, and you said what you said.

You laughed at the statement that Russia had a "capable military".

Obviously, their military is capable of attacking Ukraine, and forcing them to beg for foreign dollars, weapons, and fighters in order to just survive, hence my question.

Billions of American tax dollars are "nothing"???

            Do what?!?!?!

You do realize we are a debtor nation, do you not?

We can't even pay our own bills, so we have no business funding a foreign war. Plus, no one is even talking about any limits. How long, and for how much, we are supposed to pay for this war???

And this isn't about MAGA or partisan party politics, it's about simple math and foreign policy.

the Russian Empire has leverage because it’s loaded with resources with a capable military

this isn’t the unequal relationship between the US and Germany or France and Niger
Speaking of bullying America lost wars to even lesser foes than natoKraine.

The US military STILL CANNOT match the Russian Empire in ammo despite having the biggest budget and help from over 30 countries.

American military is wasting your tax dollars, and you’re proud of it.IMG_6542.webp

He allowed himself to be drawn into the NATO orbit which has been moving eastward for the last 3 decades toward Russia's borders. If Zelensky just went along with the Minsk Accords and agreed never to join NATO there would not have been any military action. He still had an out with a peace agreement shortly after hostilities began, Unfortunately, he listened to the "counsel" of Boris Johnson and didn't take the off ramp and peace.

The result is that we have what we have today thanks to Zelensky's greed and ego. But, since it's ethnic Ukrainians (and Russians) dying on the battlefield and not his people Zelensky is willing to make that sacrifice.

Jewlensky was made president to make peace with the Russians in the Donbass and restore good relations with the Russian Empire

Jewlensky instead betrayed the Ukrainian people when he threw away a most generous peace deal in April 2022:

*You keep the Donbass but leave it alone

*Russia would even give UA some kind of compromise on Crimea!

Now he has Ukraine stuck in an unwinnable war with this policy:

KYIV, Oct 4 [2022] (Reuters) - President Volodymyr Zelenskiy signed a decree on Tuesday formally declaring the prospect of any Ukrainian talks with Kremlin leader Vladimir Putin "impossible"

Jewlensky hasn’t delivered on his peace platform AT ALL.

Putin has results for his country. From the ashes of the Soviet Union came the restoration of the Russian Empire. From a broken man to a global power once more. Russian wages 10X’d with decades of Putin

This is a comparison between a total newbie and a seasoned statesman
