My cousin had the 90cc version of your CT125, it was an embarrassing (at least to a twelve year old) bright yellow and it came with a chain extension and two rear sprockets. Adding the chain extension and switching over to the big rear sprocket, if you could get traction, that tiny engine could climb about any hill.

I'll bet more engines with that basic design have been produced than any other engine in the history of internal combustion engines.
