Can People Enlarge Their Hearts By Training Too Hard?

My step- dad says that you can not enlarge your heart by training too hard.

I say that the heart is a muscle and what happens when a body builders muscle gets too big?

It's called Athletic heart syndrome (AHS) and it is real.

My doctor said that I had an enlarged heart and that when I quit training it shrunk, causing a scar to get caught up in my blood stream at the top of my neck on the right side when I started working out again.

Any further and sheet would of been much worse.

So training hard does enlarge a heart and you are not born with an enlarged heart? ...............Rockin'
