  • The Culture Wars in America are nothing more than social engineering gone awry

Politicians have always tried to convince people to vote for them.

In recent years or decades, areas of marketing, social media, social engineering, data mining, manipulation etc have exploded in capability.

Of course our politicians and their think tanks have had access to these tools, and of course they have used them.

What they have done is successfully made Americans hate each other in pursuit of votes and power.

They have succeeded. Look at this forum. Americans HATE each other. If you aren't on one side, that side sees you as vile evil.

    Great job, politicians.

Kudos to McCain and Romney for not going down this path of the culture wars. They disagreed with Obama but maintained he was a decent man.

You knew a racist like Trump would use white fear to win. He ran with birtherism once his people told him that was the best way to the Presidency, regardless of the damage it would do to the country.

Yeah that is a sort of candle in the dark to see a politicians refuse to engage in that stuff.

Most of them give into greed and powerlust and throw all else out the window.

Its politics. The goal is winning. I get that.

The majority of the country voted him out so that was a rejection of the culture wars on national scale.

But as you see with CRT, bathroom bills, bills allowing checking of kids genitals, there is still a huge appetite for culture wars on the right. It drives them to the polls.

Moderate Republicans and non extreme Dems need to realize this.

Sadly, the genie is out the bottle and I dont think it can be put back in.

It's insane how polarized people have become.

The saddest part is that it's gone from political affiliation to pretty much every social conversation going on today.

And it's sweeping more and more into my country too, apparently this is what drives views and clicks online.

Yeah you're definitely onto something with the clicks and views.

The polarization is like 1000x what it was now that we have Facebook and Twitter. Those two website are like a cancer to society.

or do you have to wait for mitt rommney's confirmation?

and mccain? the guy responsible for the forrestal accident? who was a drunk scumbag who sold out his fellow POWs in vietnam whose imprisonment coincided with an increased rate of vietcong victories in the vietnam war?

and who is responsible for the politicization of nearly every aspect of society in america????

                  do you know?

                  i know.

its quite obvious the clueless TS doesnt know because he's blaming politicians.

let me know if you want to know who is responsible for the fractured state of american society.

its quite obvious to anybody with a modicum of intellect, perceptual ability, and most importantly honesty.
