    It's called a theory for a reason.

Its just a theory anyway, just like the religious counterpart.

People act as if Darwin is some sort of hero for this ****, when none of it is provable.

      Yawn.
Ooh goody, an ignorance and arrogance combination post. My favourite.

...but not for the reason you think.

It is a theory, it doesn't have beyond refutable proof. Sure it makes sense to some, bit it is no more valid than the ancient west African creation story which stated the universe was created from the tear of a crocodile.

oooh that was a good one.

I dont think evolution is a theory plucked out of someones arse. The evidence is now overwhelming, the arguments against it are kinda weak.

Plus, its not just a theory like any other theory. It tells us about life on this planet in a more profound way then anyone could imagine. It connects us to all living things and places perspective on how amazing and precious our planet is.
The 'theory' should make people feel privileged and proud that we are still around to enjoy and comprehend this planets beauty.
Its the story how great nature is, and as part of it, realise how amazing we are.
Unfortunately the world is better off without us.

Still, evolution is better than any religious story of how we got here.

I don't remember documentaries ever being huge sellers, unless you have someone like Al Gore pushing them.

I believe in Evolution, but I'm not dying to see a movie about it.
